Now you can utilize your gmail email box space for anotehr purpose and this is storing files there. Gmail Drive will allow you to upload files on your email account space and there is no restriction on size of files and number of days you keep them there.
Process is very simple.
Download the gmail drive windows shell extension.
Install it
Open My Computer
You will see new drive named “Gmail Drive”
Click on it and it will ask for your Gmail account userid and password
After logging in you can drag and drop files in it.
ALTERNATIVE
Another way of using your gmail space is by using GSpace a FireFox extension. It acts as an online drive, so you can upload files from your hard drive and access them from every Internet capable system.

i use a utility called backup to email i do right click on files and send them to gmail… http://backup2e.com
